Skilled Care Services

Currently 115 beds are available within St. Anne’s Home for the Elderly, our normally deficiency free nursing home which is dually certified Medicare and Medicaid. Nursing home rooms are housed on the south end of the campus close to therapies; the dining room which serves physician ordered, dietitian and speech therapy approved therapeutic diets; activities areas, medical, dental and podiatry and social services. We accommodate short and long term stays.

If residents choose physicians who regularly see St. Anne's residents as part of their practice there is rarely a need to leave the building. Out patient psychiatric, neurological, psychological, ENT, audiology and optometry services are also provided onsite. Physical, occupational and speech therapy services are provided by Covenant Health Care.

With around the clock nursing staff, a Registered Nurse on duty at all times and adjunct services our goal is always to encourage our residents to achieve and maintain their optimal level of function and maximum independence. At times that goal will include returning to the resident’s prior residence. When that is not possible, we work with the resident, family and their support network to make the residents stay at St. Anne’s as close to home as possible since we strive to treat everyone like family.

Our full time priest is available to residents and their families. He has Mass in our chapel 6 days per week, routinely visits residents and has spiritual small group gatherings with residents as a part of the activity program. Other pastoral care staff and volunteers contribute to the spiritual aspect of our resident’s lives by ecumenical services, serving as eucharistic ministers or readers, singing in the choir, playing organ or piano and as vigilkeepers. If a resident is nearing their end of life vigilkeepers are available should a resident or family wish it. Vigilkeepers stay with the dying resident, pray with them and as much as possible see to it that they are not left alone.

• On-site check cashing is available through our accounting office.
• Our beautiful chapel is equipped with an audio loop for the hearing impaired.
• Beautician and barber services are offered in our own shop.
• A full activities program is offered to all residents. Activities are tailored to the needs of residents.
• Our outdoor areas include parks, walking paths with outdoor Stations of the Cross, the pond and gardens. Porches and patios are easily accessed from every area of the facility.
• The Country Store offers residents ice cream, snacks and a variety of items for every day needs.
• Security or reception is staffed 24 hours per day to control access to the building.
• Maintenance and housekeeping service is available every day.
• Our onsite laundry operates every day. Therefore our staff cares for your personal items as well as sees that everyone has needed linens.
• Full dietary service is provided in our attractive dining rooms. Our modified restaurant service permits residents to make choices. Food is prepared according to prescribed therapeutic diets with the review of a registered dietician. Catering is available for special events.
